User Management

There are 2 different user roles available in Gophish.

Admins have a system-level administrative role with full permissions to manage the Gophish installation.

Users are allowed to do everything except manage installation, users, webhooks, etc…

To add users as an Admin, go to the “User Management” page.

Register a New User

Register a new user by clicking the “+ New User” button. 

Once you click the “+ New User” button, this dialog box will appear:

In the form, set the username, password, user-role, and whether they need to reset their password when they first login.

Delete a User

Delete a user by selecting the red trash can icon next to the username in the user list.

There must be at least one administrative user or else Gophish will return an error.

Impersonate a user

If you need to troubleshoot issues with a user, Gophish allows you to enter other user accounts as the administrator.

To impersonate a user, click the yellow button next to the username in the user list and you will be automatically logged in as that user in a new session.

When you go back to the administrative section, you will be able to log out of that user profile and log back in as the administrator.
